Coiling Grilles provide an excellent means of security and crowd control, allowing visibility and providing a sleeker aesthetic than solid coiling doors. Grilles can be equipped with a variety of different features to accommodate a multitude of applications.   • 5/15” steel rods for a strong protective barrier.
  • Available in straight or brick patterns.
  • 100% visibility to observe what is behind the door when fully closed.

  • Titan Locking System with lock rods over ½” thick built to withstand potential security breaches and operator misuse.

  • Grilles can be manufactured to accommodate openings over 60’ wide by 30’ high.

  • Available in Galvanized Steel, Aluminum or Stainless Steel rods. Typical spacing is 2.0” vertical opening pattern. For greater security also available in 1.0” vertical hole spacing.
  • Brick pattern doors wider than 5’-0” require a straight link running full height of door to prevent sagging
  • Lock Protection Rods spaced 1” apart reduce the opening spacing in the section above the cylinder lock to mitigate lock tampering. This will automatically be added to the door if inside thumb turn in lieu of key locking is requested.

  • Motor, Chain, Hand-Crank or Push-Up operation available based on size, weight or frequency of operation.
  • Battery backup available to ensure operation in the event of power failure or blackout.

  • Standard construction for the life of the product is 15,000 cycles.

What is R-Value, and how does it benefit me?

R-Value is a measure of thermal efficiency, the higher the R-value the greater the insulating properties of the door.

Can I replace a section of my door? Or do I need to replace the whole door?

Yes, replacing only a section of your rolling door is possible in some cases; however, depending upon the damage involved, the entire door may need to be replaced. Contact us to evaluate your specific situation and make recommendations for the best solution.

Can a door be made with either right handed or left handed operator?

Yes, operation is available form either side of opening.

Can you manufacture doors that meet Dade-County or Florida building code for wind resistance?

What is headroom?

Headroom refers to the distance between the top of the clear opening to the first obstruction.

What is Side Room?

Side Room refers to the measurement from each side of the door opening, outward to the nearest wall or obstruction. Allow 3 ¾ on either side of the door for standard extension and torsion springs installation.

When referring to steel gauge, does lower number mean thicker steel?

The lower the gauge, the thicker (and stronger) the steel. For example, 24-gauge steel is thicker than 27-gauge steel.

How do I know what type of door to buy?

It depends on a number of factors. The type of traffic in your facility, load dimensions, whether or not it’s a high-speed, high-volume operation, any specialized functions needed and so on.
